Thank you for sharing so openly. You are blessed. I am separated with no children. My husband walked out 2 years ago, and since then I have had not a single proposal. Not even a request for a date. Well, maybe one or two requests for dates, but not from men my age anyway, so I turned them down. The only thing close (from a man in my age bracket) was a request for a "virtual relationship" from a man who used to be our Christian Union chairman in University.
I am waiting for my divorce to be final before I consider the steps I need to take to put myself out there. I hope one day to be married - I know from experience that marriage is a good thing.
I enjoy your articles and hope you will continue sharing!

Having been a single mother for over ten years, I totally relate. And its true, better tell him now than later. I love my hubby because he accepted my son and treats him like the treasure he is. Tempering my sharp tongue with strong words of wisdom and sometimes helping him (my son) see where he is wrong. But nothiing beats the love that comes from above. Its unconditional and helps us to love unconditionally. We have had our rough times but knowing God shares them with me has always been a source of comfort.
